Francis A. Dramis, Jr.

Francis A. "Fran" Dramis, Jr., is currently Chief Executive Officer of F. Dramis, LLC, a technology consulting company.

Fran Dramis is the past Chief Information, Ecommerce, and Security Officer for BellSouth.

Mr. Dramis joined BellSouth Corporation in 1998. During his tenure BellSouth's IT and Security groups were nationally recognized as top organizations in their fields by receiving the following awards: 

  • Computerworld's 100 Best Places to Work in IT (2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005)
  • Top 10 in Diversity category - Computerworld's 100 Best Places to Work in IT (2004)
  • SecurE-Biz Leadership Award
  • InformationWeek 500 Most Innovative Users of Technology (Ranked #10 in 2005)
  • CIO Magazine's Enterprise Value Award in 2005

Before joining BellSouth, Mr. Dramis founded CIO Strategy, Inc., an information technology consulting firm. At that firm Mr. Dramis led technology transformation efforts at Citibank, Coopers and Lybrand, NASD, and Bankers Trust. Prior to CIO Strategy, Mr. Dramis was managing director and CIO at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Dramis also served as president and CEO of Network Management Inc. and president and chief operating officer of Telic Corporation. Early in his career, Mr. Dramis worked with AT&T, including Bell Labs, rising to the position of executive director of information product management.  

As one of the country's leading IT leaders, Dramis has been recognized by a variety of publications as a top CIO. His awards include:

  • CIO Magazine's CIO 100 Award in 1999
  • CIO Magazine's Top 100 Leaders for the Next Millennium in 2000
  • Computerworld's Premier 100 IT Leaders in 2002
Because of his past CEO and CIO experiences Mr. Dramis has been sought after for public and private board positions. He is currently serving on the board of Avocent Corporation. He has previously served on the boards of webMethods Inc. and RealOps Inc. until their mergers were completed.  He is also on several private company advisory boards including Amiga corp. Diabetech, Virma, and IOCOM.   

Dramis is the author of several articles on change and leadership and is a frequent speaker at technology and leadership forums.


Randolph A. Moore, III
Partner, Alston & Bird LLP

Randy Moore is a partner in the Financial Services and Products Group whose practice focuses on the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation and compliance, and corporate governance matters. Mr. Moore represents private and public financial institutions and investment banking firms with a particular industry focus on financial institutions, including banks and depository institutions, insurance companies and agencies, and investment advisers.  Randy has advised clients on M&A transactions with an aggregate deal value in excess of $15 billion and on capital raising transactions with a deal value in excess of $10 billion.

Randy serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Emory University School of Law, where he teaches a course on mergers and acquisitions.
