USDOL & TAC Worldwide Settlement - $1.8 Million Due In Back Wages

The temporary employee placement agency 888 Consulting Group Inc., doing business as TAC Worldwide, has agreed to pay 973 employees $1,866,943 in overtime back wages in settlement of a U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) lawsuit. The DOL filed the lawsuit after an investigation by the Wage and Hour Division revealed that the company had misclassified as exempt from overtime four employees at its Dedham, Mass. headquarters and 969 temporary placement employees across the country.
